Photographers for Adoption Trip

Several of my friends who have adopted over the last few years have opted to use professional photographers to document their family’s experience. Though we didn’t use a photographer when we adopted our children as it wasn’t a common choice back then, we would definitely consider this as an option for one of our post-adoption trips in the future.

Since I didn’t know what all was involved in this and wanted to learn more, I looked to one of the photographers than other families have used to share with me a little bit about what adoption photography is all about. Many thanks to Seoul-based photographer Dylan Goldby of WelkinLight Photography (www.welkinlight.com) for his insight:

  1. Hi there Lillie. Thanks for sharing my link on your blog. 🙂 I’m glad to be a part of the community.

We were lucky enough to use a photographer when we traveled to Seoul to meet our son in early August. I would highly recommend Dylan Goldby at http://www.welkinlight.com. His blog which shows our photos and another adoptive family are on his blog at http://welkinlight.wordpress.com/. I am very impressed with Romin who wasn’t able to help us due to a conflict but made sure we had a connection to another great photographer!

    Hi!

First of all, thank you for listing my site here, and thanks to Kala for recommending my services.

Just a quick note to let you know that both Romin and Dustin are no longer in country.

This is a great resource and I will be sharing it with all of my clients to ease their journeys to Korea.
